Kaiserwinkl Alpine Balloon Festival, Jan 21 to 28, 2017
We are thrilled to take part of the famous ballooning event in Kaiserwinkl! More than 50 teams from around the world take off for daily flights across the Kaiser Mountains or even cross the alps – as far as Italy.
Every day, countless colorful balloons take to the skies and blend in with the snow-covered crags of the Kaisergebirge mountain range to form postcard images. The exhibition flights included balloons of the most unusual shapes. And of course, the ‘Night Glowing’ was spectacular! There are daily tasks, challenges, and hot air balloon races.
The Tyroll region of Austria is one of the most beautiful and picturesque part of the world in which to fly hot air balloons. We hope you’ll join us next time!
